- Locations

Saint Alphonsus has three comprehensive Cancer Care Center locations in southwest Idaho - one located at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, one in Nampa and the Cancer Care Center in Caldwell, operated in collaboration with West Valley Medical Center. The location of these centers allows patients more convenient access to treatment, which enables them to devote more time and energy to healing and recovery.

Advanced Technology

Saint Alphonsus is the only medical facility in Idaho to adopt the leading-edge Novalis Shaped Beam Surgery. Novalis delivers radiation therapy with a level of precision that has never before been possible. This technology pinpoints the location of the tumor, calculates the right does of radiation and then continuously shapes the treatment beam to perfectly mirror the size and shape of a tumor from all angles - while minimizing damage to healthy tissue.

Recognition of Care

The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Care Center holds membership and accreditation in several national organizations that recognize and advocate for quality cancer care. This includes a membership in the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC), a national interdisciplinary organization that promotes the entire continuum of care for cancer patients and their communities. The Cancer Care Center is also accredited through the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) and the Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), leading organizations on establishing standards for improvement of cancer care.
